Because we all know sprinkles make donuts so much better, and like I always say SPRINKLES in the morning always make for a great start to the day! They're just perfect for an easter brunch!

Ingredients

1 Cup (120 g) All Purpose Flour

1/4 Cup (50 g) Granulated Sugar

1 Teaspoon (5 g) Baking Powder

1/8 Teaspoon (0,5 g) Nutmeg

1/2 Teaspoon (3 g) Salt

7 Tablespoons (104 ml) Milk

1 Tablespoon (14 g) Unsalted Butter (melted)

1 Egg
-
1/2 Teaspoon (2 ml) Pure Vanilla Extract

3/4 Cup (90 g) Icing Sugar

2 Tablespoons (28 g) Unsalted Butter (room temperature)

1/2 Teaspoon (2 ml) Vanilla Extract

1 Tablespoon (15 ml) Milk

Directions
1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F and lightly grease your donut pan.
2. In a medium sized mixing bowl, sift together all the dry ingredients. Set aside.
3. In a separate bowl, combine all the wet ingredients.
4. Mix the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients. Don’t over mix.
5. Fill each donut pan cavity approximately 2/3 full. (Note, I like to use a piping bag to evenly distribute the batter.)
6. Bake 7-10 minutes.
7. Let the donuts cool in the pan for 5 minutes before removing to your KPKitchen cooling rack.
8. While your donuts are cooling, prepare your icing.
9. To make the icing, add all the ingredients in a bowl and mix until smooth.
10. Once your donuts have completely cooled, add your icing.
11. Optional, decorate with your favourite sprinkles.
