KPKitchen Baking Tools Used in This Recipe
Using a stand mixer or a hand mixer, cream your butter and sugar until smooth.
Next, add your vanilla and salt. Continue mixing until fully incorporated.
Slowly add the flour and mix until a dough forms. (Note, if you’re using a hand mixer, you may need to use your hands to form the dough.)
Next, carefully fold the sprinkles into the dough. (Note, don’t over mix as the sprinkles may begin to colour the dough.)
Using a flat surface and your KPKitchen silicone pastry mat, flatten the dough into cookies (leaving them about 1/4 inch thick)
Bake in the oven for 25 minutes or until the edges begin to brown.
Let the cookies cool for 5 minutes before transferring them to your KPKitchen cooling rack.
Optional: Decorate your cookies with your favorite buttercream frosting.
